The staff was helpful, meeting us at the train station and even assisting us with bus tickets to Machu Picchu, made our arrival seamless.
Unfortunately, the room had a slight damp odor that lingered, which could be off-putting, especially after a long day of hiking.

I was there for 1 night and ate at rooftop restaurant with wonderful breakfast. The position was particularly good and amazing, near a bus station...

The stay here was good for our 3 weeks vacation. The location offered was great and perfect really close to bus station and hot springs. It also was away from the main square.
Didn't like the staff, some of them were not that friendly.

rooftop bar with lovely view, proximity to main Machu Picchu office, reasonable value for money
The reception was often unmanned, causing confusion!!! The room design with the curtain instead of a bathroom door was uncomfortable and allowed smells to linger!!! The damp odor and leak outside the bathroom door certainly need attention!!!

The staff was amazingly nice all day long. Location: the hotel was very close to the train station and the bus station, shopping options and the bus station for riding up to Macchu Pichu itself.

Tastefully decorated and huge room plus with 3 beds. Convenient location next to the bar/restaurant and bus station and the market and the bus stop to take the bus to Machu Picchu, next to Machu Picchu Hot Spring. Also, in a great neighborhood.

The great and the meh
Staff were really good! They even returned my lost phone, a huge relief. Plus, breakfast starts at 05:00, perfect for early adventures.
The room was basic, more akin to a budget motel than described, leaving a bit to be desired in comfort.

The room was open when I arrived, how charming. The drain was clogged so I had to wait for a strong-smelling employee to clean it at midnight, lovely touch. Expected a room upgrade due to my inconvenience but apparently that's too much to ask for. I almost gave a good review, but just couldn't.

The staff met us at the train station and helped us get bus tickets to Machu Picchu. The breakfast was delicious with lots of variety, and the views from the dining room were amazing. The room was clean and cozy, exactly what we needed after a long day of exploring.
The shower temperature was a bit tricky to adjust.

Great hotel with great wi-fi, 24-hour reception, and a cozy bar/lounge area. I still remember when the staff offered me a hot drink during my first stay. Make sure to try the eggs at breakfast!

Couple comfort seekers
We had the Superior King Room which was spacious and clean! The bed was king size and really comfy, I mean, it felt good after a long day on my feet.
It wasn't exactly inexpensive, but you know, for what you get, it was fine.
